I grew up in Salem and moved to Portland after college. When my son was born in 1995, we moved to Washougal, WA. Washougal is east of Vancouver, the "Gateway to the Gorge". When I lived in Portland, I was a teacher for the Head Start program and a Special Education teacher in Centennial School District, working with middle and high school students. I stayed home with my children when they were young and then went back to teaching in 2005. I have taught kindergarten, first and second grades at Fisher's Landing Elementary in the Evergreen School District for 12 years. When my daughter graduated in June of 2017, I decided to move to Beaverton and take a job at Sato!!
